As a health care practitioner, I want to help everyone.
I want to help you on a path toward thriving and living your best life. A life with a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
I want my clients to know that they are safe in my care regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. I want my clients to know that I stand on the side of #blacklivesmatter and, if that makes you uncomfortable, I am not the right practitioner for you.
The “experts” tell me to keep my personal beliefs separate from my work. To stay neutral. I won’t do this. Silence is compliance and I will actively work to dismantle systemic oppression including white supremacy and patriarchy.
If this makes you uncomfortable, there is a sea of silent practitioners who can help you while keeping the ‘dinner conversations’ polite. I will not stand on a soap box preaching my beliefs at you during our sessions as the sessions are for you. But, what makes me a great practitioner is that I bring my me-ness into all our moments. It would be a disservice to you if I didn’t offer you all of me.
Valentine Care will remain a hate free zone and an active participant in dismantling hate.
